We all know Tim Burton as an extremely imaginative filmmaker but what you
may not know are his drawings, paintings, photographs, concept art,
storyboards and puppets that The Museum of Modern Art from New York is
showing till the 26 of April. Hundreds of works are exhibited at the MoMA’s
third-floor special-exhibitions gallery. Divided into three sections that
mark different periods of Burton’s career, the retrospective goes from his
teenage drawings and college films to sketches from his upcoming Alice in
Wonderland movie.
