We escaped from France! With much horn blowing and waving at French girls we boarded the ferry and smuggled Ozzy up onto the deck where previously no dogs had gone before.



The sun was setting as we set out, and as the captain announced that it would be a smooth crossing, we cracked our cans of beer open and settled down for the ride…..
That is until Greg found the wind on a cross-channel ferry crossing was very good for freestyling and he promptly brushed our remaining freestyle disc into the English channel.
The customs and excise officials were far too bemused to stop the She Hannibal and search her for contraband and so we chugged straight out of the port and into England.



Greg Catch coped marvellously with the left hand driving and we headed for London and our rendezvous with the distributor.
We found the place with no problems and arrived at a busy warehouse full of fork-lifts and workers.
Everyone was interested in Lady Hannibal and so we gave an impromptu melody horn performance while the workers smoked roll-ups. I made a passing comment that Freestyle Magazine was actually a hard core gay porn magazine from Belgium and then immediately regretted it when I realized that our new helmeted friends, with their high visibility jackets, had a certain “YMCA” aura about them and they were all eyeing Greg.
We left for my mam’s house, tired and hungry, yet happy to have delivered our first shipment of FSM and to arrive to a warm welcome and sausage sandwiches.



The next day was great! We hooked up with Debby, Mark Eley and his mate John, had a few pints in a nice pub and spotted our mags all over London in news-agents and book shops. After a brief and spontaneous throw around with an EK disc outside the pub we all piled into John’s Mini Cooper and flew around the streets of London back to Mark’s place for a nice long crash. Everyone slept like logs; Ozzy was twitching and peeping in his sleep, probably dreaming about cats and foxes, while I dreamt about the next day and our big spontaneous London FSM/EK launch party.
