Trick your brain and take it as a gift
most beauty is thrown over
shoulders
cast out
of dreamland spines
painfully
reminding
marching wrinkles
walk that narrow line
the erroneous tic feast
is there
where
nobody looks

—————————————————-

Alexander Fielden is a talented, young shoe designer based in The Netherlands.
Even he grew up in a family with a humble interest in art and design he followed his vision about creating things – shoes.
His designs are innovative in shape and details. At the same time they seam wearable, actually comfortable. My favourites so far are the Goofy model (picture) with the grey cap plus the ones he was wearing the only time we met personally, called Growing Up.
Back then I already asked if that model is available in a 38, later I asked the same about the goofy, luckily his answer was:
“Every thing you see coming from my hand you can get in every size and shape you want!”
Beside he creates his own “library of forms”, designing “experimental shoes”.
Check the Triptych; collaboration work about an old idea of Alexander between him, his brother, Christian Fielden (photographer) and Katja Hoekmeijer (stylist) for art exhibition “To Eat Or To Be Eaten”.
Interesting note here, the picture were shoot while the liquid chocolate was sliding over the foot, there is almost no postproduction work.
Alexander is working on sample colletions for other companies.
I am looking forward to his own collection and will keep you posted.
