photo: Why? – Alopecia // Josiah, Yoni & Doug

Today I had a little chat with Stevomatix, who attended the Why? concert @ Maria in Berlin last Tuesday. Unfortunately I could not be there because of some work issue.

Stevomatix reported that the psychedelic folk was great and the live performance with Yoni, Josiah and Doug changing between the instruments incredible, as always.
They played the best songs of their three albums Alopecia (2008), Sanddollars EP (2005) and, our favourite, Elephant Eyelash (2005).

He was sad the show only lasted one hour and Why? did not play more then one additional song, although the audience was still rocking the house!
So for a short time we wallowed in memories: when we used two dance two hours, for half the prize, a few years ago. How bands change when they start being less underground, more successful, playing at better locations, etc.

Still, they ROCK and we both support them as well as the whole rest of the Anticon Crew.
